Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Māori Development: What was the composition - in percentage terms - of sources of energy consumed to power or heat buildings, if any, in the Minister’s department’s, agencies, crown entities or any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, in 2024?

Hon Tama Potaka: I am advised by Te Puni Kōkiri that the energy consumed to power or heat buildings occupied by the department in 2024 was 99.9 percent electricity and 0.1 percent natural gas.
