15219 (2025). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: How much has been spent since 1 April 2024, if any, on the SH1 Second Mt Victoria Tunnel and Basin Reserve upgrade project, including the long tunnel option?

Hon Chris Bishop: I refer the Member to my response to Written Question 11551 (2025). I am advised by NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi (NZTA) that the SH1 Second Mt Victoria Tunnel and Basin Reserve upgrade project, which included investigations into the long tunnel option, has been renamed as SH1 Wellington Improvements.
