15201 (2025). Benjamin Doyle to the Minister for Regulation: On what date did the Minister and their relevant Chief Executives ensure that all staff involved in the development of government regulatory proposals are familiar with the contents of Cabinet Office Circular CO (24) 7 - Impact Analysis Requirements, if at all?

Hon David Seymour: On 14 February 2025 I shared a letter with my ministerial colleagues outlining the Circular CO (24) 7 Impact Analysis Requirements, and how they can support their implementation. Officials advise that the Ministry for Regulation’s Chief Executive also shared a similar letter with relevant Chief Executives on 24 February 2025. As a result of the oversight role that the Ministry has for Regulatory Impact Assessments and for the Cabinet Office Circular CO (24) 7, Ministry for Regulation staff have a good understanding of the requirements and have taken steps to operationalise the requirements within the relevant teams.
