15180 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Housing: Will the Minister give his commitment that no frontline staff will be cut as part of the Reset, Resize, Renew programme?

Hon Chris Bishop: Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advises me that the Reset, Resize, Renew programme is primarily focused on corporate and back-office functions. The purpose of Reset, Resize and Renew is to ensure Kāinga Ora has the right capabilities to return to its core mission of providing and managing state-owned social housing in a financially sustainable way. Frontline tenancy management roles will not be directly impacted by this change.
