15150 (2025). Hon Jan Tinetti to the Associate Minister of Education: How many teachers, if any, working in Early Childhood Education centres are permanently employed, and how many are not?

Hon David Seymour: I am advised by the Ministry of Education that the 2024 Early Childhood Education (ECE) census reported there were 25,721 permanently employed ECE teachers. 7588 ECE teachers were not permanently employed.
