15079 (2025). Hon Dr Duncan Webb to the Associate Minister of Finance: How many people were in the Natural Hazards Commission administered on-sold programme as at 4 November 2024; how many are in it now?

Hon David Seymour: I am advised that applicants are considered to be in the On-sold programme at multiple stages – preparing evidence of damage, signing a settlement agreement and undertaking construction. Across all three stages, there were 556 people in the On-sold programme as of 4 November 2024. There are now 478 people in the On-sold programme (as of 24 March 2025). Since 4 November 2024: • 116 applicants have progressed to the point of receiving a settlement agreement to sign. • 118 applicants have signed their settlement agreements and are now preparing to undertake construction.
