Dr Tracey McLellan to the Minister of Transport: Did the Minister or the Minister's Office advise the Christchurch City Council that the funding for the Brougham Street Upgrade was largely not a new investment, but a reallocation of the Greater Christchurch Public Transport Futures Programme tagged contingency?

Hon Chris Bishop: I reject the premise of the question. The Brougham St Sh76 upgrade involves a sizeable increase in investment above the CHH PT Futures programme amount.
