15023 (2025). Ingrid Leary to the Minister for Mental Health: Is there a need to develop evidence-based early psychosis care, with a particular focus on Māori early psychosis needs; if so, what, if anything, will he do to develop this?

Hon Matt Doocey: I am advised that this is a complex area where evidence is evolving. The Child and Youth Mental Health Prevalence Study will provide a greater understanding of the scale of mental distress in New Zealand and has the potential to provide insights in this area.
