14853 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Foreign Affairs: How many litres of petrol, if any, did vehicle fleets in the Minister’s department’s, agencies, crown entities or any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, consume in 2022?

Rt Hon Winston Peters: I am advised that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT) used 111,499 litres of petrol in its fleet in the 2021/22 financial year, and Antarctica NZ used 1,732 litres of petrol in its fleet in the 2021/22 financial year. MFAT and Antarctica New Zealand do not aggregate fuel use data by calendar year.
