14806 (2025). Rt Hon Chris Hipkins to the Prime Minister: What aides-mémoire, briefings, memos, notes, reports, or any other advice, if any, has the Minister or their Office received during the week beginning 17 March 2025, listed by agency, title and date received?
Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: As Prime Minister, I regularly request and receive advice from officials on a range of matters. In my capacity as the Prime Minister, I received the following documents from 21-24 March 2025 from my officials in the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC): • Conflicts of interest report: March 2025, 17 March 2025 • Addressing request for urgent funding for security from at-risk communities, 17 March 2025 • Note to Ministers - Reducing risk and building resilience through key policy programmes, 17 March 2025 • Transfer of responsibility – aquaculture and Regional Infrastructure Fund, 19 March 2025 • King’s Birthday 2025 Honours List (KB2025) – APH1 briefing, 19 March 2025 • Prime Minister’s Weekly Brief, 20 March 2025. I also received two documents within the specified timeframe however, it is not in the public interest to release the titles of these documents. I have received briefings from the Policy Advisory Group, a business unit of DPMC, during the requested timeframe however I am not releasing the titles of these briefings. Furthermore, staff in my office may informally receive documents, including draft documents, from my officials in DPMC and from other agencies, and from Ministers’ offices. This information is not held in a format that can be easily extracted within the time frame.
