14663 (2025). Rt Hon Chris Hipkins to the Minister responsible for Ministerial Services: Further to his answer to written question 10078 (2025): How many informal complaints, if any, were received by Ministerial Services regarding Ministers during this period?

Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: Officials from Ministerial services meet with my Chief of Staff on a weekly basis to discuss operational matters - including the staffing and resourcing of Ministerial offices. I am advised by Ministerial Services that informal complaints are not centrally recorded. As is normal in any workplace, sometimes concerns and issues are raised. Ministerial Services has robust established processes to address issues appropriately if and when they arise, and ensure staff are well supported. Ministerial Services advise that they are committed to ensuring Minister’s Offices maintain a respectful and professional work environment for all staff.
