14637 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery: What consultations did the Minister’s departments, if any, open on the week beginning 17 March with employees around any changes to employment roles, employment numbers and any other employment conditions, and how many roles were affected?

Hon Mark Mitchell: The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) is a departmental agency hosted by the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC). DPMC hosts the Chief Executive, Cyclone Recovery who is supported by the Cyclone Recovery Unit (CRU), a business unit of DPMC. In my capacity as the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery I am not the Responsible Minister, the Prime Minister is the Responsible Minister for DPMC. I refer the member to the Prime Minister’s response to Written Parliamentary Question 14815 (2025).
