14580 (2025). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Local Government: Is there a timeframe for the Department of Internal Affairs' investigations of a rates pegging model like New South Wales to report back to the Minister and if so, what is it?

Hon Simon Watts: The Department has advised me on rates pegging. This advice will inform Cabinet considerations ahead of the introduction of legislation in mid-2025.
