14522 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Foreign Affairs: How many litres of diesel, if any, did vehicle fleets in the Minister’s department’s, agencies, crown entities or any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, consume in 2022?

Rt Hon Winston Peters: I am advised that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT) used 39,012 litres of diesel in its fleet in the 2021/22 financial year, and Antarctica NZ used 2,160 litres of diesel in its fleet in the 2021/22 financial year. MFAT and Antarctica New Zealand do not aggregate fuel use data by calendar year.
