14302 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Trade and Investment: What was the composition of vehicle fleets, if any, in the Minister’s department’s, agencies, crown entities or any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, by fuel type in percentage terms in 2025?

Hon Todd McClay: For New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, I am advised that for the 2024/25 Financial Year the New Zealand vehicle fleet was 39% petrol/diesel, 5% PHEV (Plug in Hybrid Vehicle), and 56% EV (Electric Vehicle). I am advised Invest New Zealand does not have a vehicle fleet.
