14269 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Prime Minister: What was the composition of vehicle fleets, if any, in the Minister’s department’s, agencies, crown entities or any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, by fuel type in percentage terms in 2021?

Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: In my capacity as the Prime Minister, I am the responsible minister for the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC). The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) was a departmental agency hosted by DPMC until 25 September 2025. The Cyclone Recovery Chief Executive was a functional Chief Executive appointed under the Public Service Act 2020 in March 2023 and disestablished with effect from 1 July 2025. I am advised that the composition of the vehicles owned by DPMC for the financial years 2020/21 to 2024/25 are set out in the attachment. I am advised that information relating to diesel and petrol consumption for NEMA vehicles is not held by DPMC. I refer the member to the responses provided by the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery for Written Parliamentary Questions 14096 (2026), 14097 (2026), 14104 (2026), 14105 (2026), 14106 (2026), and 14107 (2026).
