Camilla Belich to the Prime Minister: What specific directions, guidance, policies, instructions, or procedural changes, if any, has the Minister issued, imposed, or approved for any agencies under their responsibility regarding the handling, processing, or response to written parliamentary questions since 27 November 2023?
Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: In my capacity as Prime Minister, I am the Responsible Minister for the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC). The National Emergency Management Agency is a departmental agency hosted by DPMC. Officials in DPMC provide administrative support for the preparation of Written Parliamentary Questions I receive in my capacity as the Prime Minister. Responses prepared adhere to the guidelines set out in the Parliamentary Practice in New Zealand 2023 by Chapter - Chapter 21 - Oral Questions and Written Questions.
