14196 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Housing: What was the composition of vehicle fleets, if any, in the Minister’s department’s, agencies, crown entities or any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, by fuel type in percentage terms in 2024?

Hon Chris Bishop: Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advises that its total vehicle fleet for the 2024 financial year was 990 vehicles, comprising 54.3% EV, 44.2% Hybrid and 1.5% plug‑in hybrids (PHEVs). The Ministry of Housing and Urban Development does not have a vehicle fleet.
