Hon Tama Potaka: "This question relates to the periods before and after the transfer of the Māori Crown Relations functions to Te Puni Kōkiri on 24 February 2025. For the period 27 November 2023 until 24 February 2025, I am advised that Te Puni Kōkiri consulted Ministry of Justice as it does not hold this information. The Ministry of Justice reply is none. For the period since 24 February 2025, I have issued no specific directions, guidance, policies, instructions, or procedural changes regarding the handling, processing, or response to Official Information Act requests other than when draft responses are dur back to my office for review, approval and response. My expectation is that all requests for information will be handled in accordance with the Official Information Act 1982."
