14081 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Education: What percentage of school buses, if any, were hybrid vehicles in 2025?

Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised that the Ministry of Education (the Ministry) does not hold information on the composition of the bus fleet used to deliver Ministry funded services, including vehicle fuel types or power sources. Vehicles are provided and maintained by Ministry-contracted bus operators, or by schools that receive bulk transport funding, or their contracted bus operators.
