14080 (2026). Ingrid Leary to the Minister of Health: How will rural pharmacists be supported, with workforce training and other support, if the Health New Zealand proposal to expand the pharmacist role to providing some common funded medicines for children is advanced, if at all?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that pharmacists are highly qualified health professionals, and that the proposal includes services that are within their existing scope of practice.
