Hon Shane Jones: The Fuel Response Plan (2026) is designed to prioritise fuel supply for essential services for as long as practicable during a disruption. The duration for which essential services can be supported depends on the scale, severity, and persistence of the disruption and the effectiveness of mitigation and prioritisation measures in place.
