Camilla Belich to the Prime Minister: What specific directions, guidance, policies, instructions, or procedural changes, if any, has the Minister issued, imposed, or approved for any agencies under their responsibility regarding the handling, processing, or response to ministerial correspondence since 27 November 2023?

Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: In my capacity as Prime Minister, I am the Responsible Minister for the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC). The National Emergency Management Agency is a departmental agency hosted by DPMC. Officials in DPMC provide administrative support for the preparation of my correspondence and my expectation is that responses are prepared in plain English and in a timely manner.
