Each SDR submission reflects all known delivery at the time of the relevant reporting year. Data Caveats: • University data was extracted on the 17-April-2026 for the 2025 reporting year and has been sourced through administrative data held by the TEC. • Data relates to EFTS reported under sources of funding only: - Delivery of Qualifications at Level 7 degree and above - Delivery of Qualification at Levels 3-7 (non-degree) • Tertiary Education Organisations (Universities, Te Pūkenga, Wānanga and Private Training Establishments) submit their SDR data three times a year (April, August, and December), and each submission reflects all known enrolments and delivery at the time. • Volume of delivery is measured by Equivalent Full-Time Student (EFTS) for provider-based volume of delivery. One EFTS is equivalent to the learner workload that would normally be carried out in a single academic year (12-month period) by a learner enrolled full-time and generally equates to 120 credits on the New Zealand Qualifications and Credentials Framework (NZQCF). • Results are based on information reported through the Single Data Return (SDR) and relies on the accuracy of data reported by TEOs. • This data has been compiled specifically to respond to this question.
