Hon Chris Bishop: I am advised that MoT has spent $313,897 in total on external legal advice or law firms since 27 November 2023. Individual costs have been broken down below: • Black Door Law for Employment Advice: 3,500 • Buckett Law for Employment Advice: 25,000 • Dundas Street Law for Employment Advice: 5,000 • Legislative Drafter for CAA Rule Implementation: 10,650 • Kensington Swann for Employment Advice: 124,71.90 • Luke Cunningham and Clare for Prosecution: 12,622 • Minter Ellison for City Rail Link: 191,016 • Lawyer for Legal Advice: 10,000 • Duncan Cotteril for Legal Advice: 48,640 • Lambton Chamber for Legal Advice: 7,000 • Maclister Mazengarb for Milford Airport Advice: 470 For the total amount spent on external legal advice or law firms by NZTA, for which I am responsible, I refer the Member to the attachment.
