14002 (2026). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Prime Minister: Further to his replies to Questions 12208 and 8143 (2026), did the Cabinet Office advise Hon Chris Bishop, as Minister of Housing, that he could make funding decisions about Kāinga Ora Infrastructure Acceleration Fund projects in his electorate when they advised the Minister that he could make decisions on the Melling Interchange?

Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: Hon Bishop has confirmed publicly (see Question 12: Hansard - New Zealand Parliament - Tuesday, 18 November 2025) that he did not make a specific request to the Cabinet Office for conflict of interest advice relating to the city link bridge decision.
