13999 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Statistics: What is the total amount, if any, spent on severance payments and redundancy packages by any agencies under the Minister’s responsibility since 27 November 2023, broken down by agency and highest individual payment?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that the total amount paid to staff leaving Stats NZ via redundancy since 27 November 2023 was $10,070,503. The highest individual payment is withheld for privacy as the release of this information may identify the recipient.
