13984 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister for the Public Service: What is the total amount, if any, spent on external legal advice or law firms by any agencies under the Minister’s responsibility since 27 November 2023, broken down by firm and purpose?

Hon Judith Collins: I am advised that the Public Service Commission has spent the following amounts on external legal advice since 27 November 2023: Chapman Tripp: $5,328.75 Crown Law Office: $402,373.75 Dundas Street Limited: $53,275.11 Karen Radich: $2,616.90 The purpose of the legal advice includes costs of representing the Crown in the Waitangi Tribunal and advising the Public Service Commissioner in connection with their responsibilities and functions.
