13958 (2026). Hon Dr Megan Woods to the Minister of Finance: What scenario analysis, risk assessment, or economic modelling, if any, did Treasury provide to the Minister related to oil supply disruption or Middle East conflict escalation between 12 June 2025 and 28 February 2026, and by what dates and under what titles?

Hon Nicola Willis: The Treasury publishes a monthly list of titles and dates of advice to Ministers, by the middle of the month after the advice is provided. I refer the member to that list, which can be found here: https://www.treasury.govt.nz/publications/budgets/titles-advice-ministers. It is my view that the application of additional resources to answer this and similar questions now is not a good use of taxpayer funds and therefore not in the public interest.
