13947 (2026). Debbie Ngarewa-Packer to the Associate Minister for Energy: What is the fuel storage capacity and current stock levels for each major terminal (Marsden Point, Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin)?
Hon Shane Jones: The total fuel storage capacity is 1,068 million litres. Marsden Point is our major fuel terminal with around 40% our fuel passing through it. There is also significant fuel storage at Mount Maunganui (16%), Wellington (10%) and Lyttelton (12%). Fuel stock levels at each terminal change every day.
