13942 (2026). Hon Dr Megan Woods to the Minister of Foreign Affairs: What further analysis, if any, did MFAT produce on New Zealand's energy supply vulnerability following the June 2025 Israel-Iran strikes beyond the July 2025 market report, and if any, what were the titles and dates of those documents?

Rt Hon Winston Peters: Analysis and reporting on energy supply vulnerability is led by the Ministry of Business, Innovation, and employment (MBIE). The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT) has and continues to provide analysis to MBIE under this area of work. MFAT also provides analysis to Treasury as the lead for Economic Security under the National Security Strategy, and this included consideration of energy supply stocks.
