13900 (2026). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister for Regulation: What role, if any, will the Ministry for Regulation play in supporting the Crown Response Office on the work on care safety requirements and expectations and what full-time equivalency, if any, will be associated with this work?

Hon David Seymour: I am informed that the Ministry for Regulation meets monthly with the Crown Response Office as required under Cabinet Office Circular CO (24) 7. Through this engagement the Ministry provides regulatory advice to inform the policy process. Two staff members are involved, each contributing approximately one hour per month to this engagement with the Office.
