13889 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister for Disability Issues: What is the total amount, if any, spent on external legal advice or law firms by any agencies under the Minister’s responsibility since 27 November 2023, broken down by firm and purpose?

Hon Louise Upston: I am advised that since 1 December 2024, when the Ministry of Disabled People – Whaikaha was established as a stand-alone Ministry, it has spent $19,440 (excluding GST) on general legal services through Juno Legal. In relation to Disability Support Services, which is part of the Ministry of Social Development, I refer the member to my response as Minister for Social Development and Employment to written parliamentary question 13813 (2025).
