13875 (2026). Dan Rosewarne to the Minister for Social Development and Employment: What criteria, if any, does the Ministry of Social Development use to evaluate the effectiveness of Mayors' Taskforce for Jobs programmes before making funding decisions?

Hon Louise Upston: I am advised by the Ministry of Social Development (the Ministry) that the Mayor's Taskforce for Jobs Community Employment Programme is evaluated on the contract Key Performance Indicators and the participation rates and benefit groups of the participating clients. The Ministry further advises that regional feedback is primarily provided through Regional Commissioners, and that maintaining strong relationships with Council Mayors is an important component of this engagement.
