13828 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Justice: On how many occasions, if any, since 27 November 2023, has the Minister intervened in, overruled, or influenced a decision made by any agency under their responsibility, and what were the circumstances of each instance?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: The Member might like to familiarise herself with paragraph 3.9 of the Cabinet Manual which states “Ministers decide both the direction of and the priorities for the agencies for which they hold portfolio responsibilities.” I do not keep an exhaustive list of every instance where I have discharged my duties as a Minister over the previous 16 months.
