13805 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Associate Minister of Housing: On how many occasions, if any, since 27 November 2023, has the Minister intervened in, overruled, or influenced a decision made by any agency under their responsibility, and what were the circumstances of each instance?

Hon Tama Potaka: I am guided by the Cabinet Manual, particularly paragraph 3 outlining the roles and responsibilities between ministers and the agencies under their responsibility. Decisions delegated to an agency is for that agency to make. I regularly have free and frank discussions to enable robust decision making and an effective working relationship.
