13798 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Police: What is the total expenditure, if any, on staff redundancies across all agencies under the Minister’s responsibility, if any, since 27 November 2023, broken down by agency?

Hon Mark Mitchell: Corrected reply: I am advised that between 27 November 2023 and 25 March 2025, Police has spent $1,364,289 on severance payments and $3,112,960 on redundancy packages. The highest individual payment was $195,587. In regard to the Serious Fraud Office (SFO), between 27 November 2023 and 24 March 2025, the SFO did not pay any redundancy compensation to staff. The SFO did provide outplacement support to people made redundant, the total cost of which was $6,450.
