Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised by the Ministry for Pacific Peoples (the Ministry) that from 27 November 2023 up to 31 December 2024, the total expenditure on domestic and international travel is as follows: Domestic travel: The combined total for domestic travel it is $320,445.00 (excluding GST). To obtain the purpose and destination for this travel would require substantial collation. The Ministry invites the Member to submit an Official Information Act Request. International Travel: - Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu, Tuvalu: A Pacific Mission accompanying Minister Peters and Minister Reti ($2,718.00). - Tonga, Cook Islands, Samoa: A Pacific Mission accompanying Minister Peters and Minister Reti ($2,805.00). - USA: The 68th Session on the Commission on the status of Women ($13,225.00). - Tonga: The 53rd Pacific Islands Forum Leaders Meeting ($2,687.00). The combined total for international travel $21,435.00 (excluding GST)
