13750 (2026). Scott Willis to the Minister for Energy: Do the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment and the Commerce Commission have regular engagement about fuel importer margins, if so, how regular?

Hon Simeon Brown: Yes, I am advised that the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment regularly meets with the Commerce Commission to discuss fuel related work through the Gas and Fuel policy team. Additionally ad hoc engagements are arranged as needed between the two agencies.
