13741 (2026). Hon Ginny Andersen to the Minister of Police: What are the current National Gang List figures for each region?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I refer the Member to the attached table, which shows the breakdown of National Gang List Members by Police district as at 9 April 2026. The gang list is dynamic dataset. To ensure stability of information, the gang list is updated monthly and run on the ninth day of each month. I am further advised that for the same time period, there were 10,500 individuals on the National Gang List. This figure represents the total number of individuals and differs slightly from the summed district totals shown in the attached table. This is because some individuals may not have a current address or permanent residence recorded and are shown as “unknown” in the Police National Intelligence Application. In addition, some individuals have multiple current addresses and may therefore be counted across more than one Police district when the data are grouped geographically.
