Camilla Belich to the Minister for Māori Crown Relations: Te Arawhiti: What is the total amount, if any, spent on severance payments and redundancy packages by any agencies under the Minister’s responsibility since 27 November 2023, broken down by agency and highest individual payment?

Hon Tama Potaka: This question relates to the periods before and after the transfer of the Māori Crown Relations functions to Te Puni Kōkiri on 24 February 2025. For the period 27 November 2023 to 24 February 2025, I refer the Member to my answer to written question 7828 (2025) for information from Te Arawhiti. I also refer the Member to my answer to written question 13733 (2025) for information from Te Puni Kōkiri. It would not be in the public interest to disclose the highest individual payment, as this would infringe on the privacy of that individual.
