13651 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery: On how many occasions, if any, since 27 November 2023, has the Minister intervened in, overruled, or influenced a decision made by any agency under their responsibility, and what were the circumstances of each instance?

Hon Mark Mitchell: The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) is a departmental agency hosted by the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC). DPMC hosts the Chief Executive, Cyclone Recovery who is supported by the Cyclone Recovery Unit (CRU), a business unit of DPMC. In my capacity as the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery I am not the Responsible Minister, the Prime Minister is the Responsible Minister for DPMC.
