13614 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Corrections: How much money has been budgeted for the Carbon Neutral Government Programme for the Minister's Departments, if any, for the next financial year?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that detailed budgets are being finalised for both capital and operating expenditure. Direct operational costs for the Carbon Neutral Government Programme will be met from baseline expenditure and are expected to be $0.02m. This excludes staff costs relating to Corrections’ overall sustainability work. I am further advised that the capital plan, electric vehicle and boiler replacement programmes will continue and $11.75m has been budgeted for these initiatives.
