13609 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Corrections: What is the total amount, if any, spent on severance payments and redundancy packages by any agencies under the Minister’s responsibility since 27 November 2023, broken down by agency and highest individual payment?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that there have been four redundancies at Corrections during this timeframe. I am further advised that Corrections has paid a total of $167,486.66 in redundancy payments since 27 November 2023. However, due to the low number of staff who have received redundancy payments during this timeframe, I am unable to provide the value of the highest individual payment without breaching the privacy of those individuals involved, which I am not prepared to do in order to respond to this part of the request. This is also my response to WPQ 13633.
