13605 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Conservation: What is the total amount, if any, spent on severance payments and redundancy packages by any agencies under the Minister’s responsibility since 27 November 2023, broken down by agency and highest individual payment?

Hon Tama Potaka: The Department of Conservation advises me that a total of $3,043,019 has been spent on severance payments and redundancy payments since 27 November 2023, up until 25 March 2025, which is the most recent reporting date. The Department advises me that it does not separate severance and redundancy payments in its systems. In relation to the highest individual payment, I am advised by the Department that this information is subject to confidentiality provisions in a Settlement Agreement and unable to be released.
