13588 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Transport: What is the total amount, if any, spent by any agencies under the Minister’s responsibility on external contractors for policy advice since 27 November 2023, broken down by agency and contractor?

Hon Chris Bishop: For the agencies for which I am responsible the Ministry of Transport has advised that this information has been provided as part of their Annual Review. The information can be found captured in response to Question 68 and 124 in MoT's 2023/24 Annual Review, which is published at https://www.parliament.nz/resource/en-NZ/54SCTIN_EVI_40abd764-2571-46be-bdbe-08dcf9f3b805_TIN2016/c8a4edffe2ba49969a1707a8659964dc98b04d86”. I am advised that NZTA had one external contractor from Place Recruitment who provided policy advice at a total cost of $368,621.86.
