13514 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister for Regulation: What is the total expenditure, if any, on consultants and contractors by any agencies under the Minister’s responsibility since 27 November 2023, broken down by agency, provider, and purpose?

Hon David Seymour: The Ministry for Regulation’s expenditure on consultants and contractors is publicly available through workforce data reporting on the Te Kawa Mataaho Public Service Commission’s website here: https://www.publicservice.govt.nz/research-and-data/workforce-data-public-sector-composition/workforce-data-workforce-size. A full breakdown of contractors and consultant expenditure will be released in the Ministry’s response to Estimates Scrutiny. It is not in the public interest to compile this information within the time allowed for a Written Parliamentary Question.
