13397 (2026). Hon Rachel Brooking to the Minister for Food Safety: Has the Minister received information from the Ministry for Primary Industries explaining how the proposed model of meat inspection differs from the current Alternative Post-Mortem Meat Inspection Standards (APMIS) model, and if so, what are these differences?

Hon Andrew Hoggard: To date, I have not received any specific advice on this matter but have received a number of papers on the red meat regulatory work as per my response in WPQ 13396 (2026).
