13324 (2026). Tākuta Ferris to the Minister of Health: What use is being made of locum or visiting specialists to address workforce shortages in gynaecological oncology in the Southern region, and what barriers exist to increasing this capacity?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that as part of our focus on putting patients first and ensuring all New Zealanders have access to timely, quality healthcare, recent appointments have been made to grow the workforce in gynaecological oncology in South Island Region.
