13315 (2026). Tākuta Ferris to the Minister of Health: What specific initiatives are in place to build and retain the gynaecological oncology workforce nationally, and how will these initiatives address shortages in regions such as the Southern district?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that as part of our focus on putting patients first and ensuring all New Zealanders have access to timely, quality healthcare, a nationwide plan for gynaecological oncology specialist services is currently being developed.
